End of baseball season

Logan had so much fun at his ice cream party to celebrate the end of baseball season! All the kids got a great last talk with coach Jerry and a trophy. At the point Logan is saying he doesn't want to play baseball again next year...... But we will see.

Mops baby shower

Every year at my mops group we have a "baby shower" and all gifts are donated to a charity like the local pregnancy center. At the meeting we do a table decorating contest. This year my table got the theme of maternity so our table was "She's gonna POP" it was full of things that pop... Pop rocks, cake pops, blow pops, pop corn, bubbles, balloons, etc. I think it turned out really cute and we won! :)

Discovery Kingdom.... Again

We went for another day out to six flags. It's been so nice and well worth the cost of season passes :) this time the water raft ride was open and the 3 big kids loved it!
Wyatt got to ride in a big kid car ride. He loved it and was squealing with joy..... Until it moved..... Then he cried!!

Watch out..... New walker!

Wyatt is definitely not the most graceful child. We is now constantly walking into walls, doors, and tables! That is exactly what he did at Easter.... Walked right into the corner of a big plastic folding table. Then after we got home he fell and hit his head on another table. Poor guy had a black eye and bump on his head for about a week :(

Easter 2012

This Easter was much like the others.... We went to GG and Cowboy Papa's for 2 nights. The kids got fun Easter baskets and we left for the family Easter party. It's always so nice to get together with family. I love to watch the kids running and playing with their cousins. As much fun as they had together you couldn't help but notice one sweet smile missing. Not quite the same without Emy Lou :(
The kids had a fun Easter egg hunt and Logan and Charlotte won prizes.

Baseball

Logan's baseball season has begun! He seems to be enjoying it much more than last year and he is working very hard to improve his skills. These pictures are from our first 2 games. There will be many more to follow :)

End of spring break weekend

We had a long but fun weekend! Six flags discovery kingdom re opened for the season on Saturday. Even though the weather suggested a 30% chance of rain we went ahead. The skies were gloomy but it was dry and not too cold. The big kids and I even went on the water ride a few times :) then around 3:30 it sprinkled for a second and then the sky opened up and let loose on us. First it hailed, then it poured!!! Jared and the big kids were on a covered ride while I was scrambling to cover the stroller and gets Chars coat on. With us soaking wet and cold we ran to the cover of the dolphin show and I called and reserved a room at Travis afb near by. We got to our room and all got nice warm showers and baths and went to bed for much needed sleep. We went then rudely woken by the fire alarm in the hotel going off! So in the middle of the night we grabbed up the kids and walked down 4 flights of stairs! We sat in the car waiting to get back in and eventually carried the kids back up 4 flights of stairs and back to bed. Then.... As if we weren't tired and crazy enough..... We went back to discovery kingdom on Sunday! The plus side of the weekend was that there were not a lot of people there. We went on tons of rides and saw lots of shows. Many rides we did not even have to get off before riding a second time.
