Halloween

Happy Halloween from a brave knight, Dorothy, a cute little kitty, and the most adorable puppy ever!!!
We took the kids to the church for trunk or treat. They got to see some animals, play in a bounce house, and gets lots of candy. It was nice for us because after about an hour or so they were all ready to go home and relax! Woohoo!!!

Mops pumpkin patch trip

We went to the pumpkin patch with our mops friends this year. It was a very cold, windy, rainy day but we all still had a good time. Planting seeds, learning about milking cows, seeing lots of farm animals, story time, a hay ride, and picking out a pumpkin to take home. :)

Halloween at school

Our school does not allow the kids to wear their Halloween costumes to school. But to allow the kids some fun they had 50's and 60's dress up day! Here is my greaser boy and my hippie girl!
Logan has had a presentation in his class that day. Each child was given a fall poem to memorize and recite in front of the class and parents. That is a huge feat for a 3rd grader! Logan did amazing!!!! His teacher even received compliments from other parents about how well he did. Good job Bug!

Logan's award

Jared and I were so proud of Logan!! At school each month they work on specific character traits. This month was Speaking Truthfully! You can imagine what a proud momma I was that he received this award. Such an important thing to have as a young boy especially. Logan always exceeds my expectations. Such a good boy!

Pumpkin patch

We had a nice family day with the kids at Del Osso farms. They jumped on these huge water bags, went on a ride, rode the bucking pumpkin, rode big bikes, panned for gold, and more. We don't get a lot of time with Jared being home and not having somewhere to be. I was so grateful for some family fun!

Batman live

I won tickets to the batman live show at hp pavilion. Jared and I took the big kids for the evening and they loved it. It was a big stage show with acrobats, explosions, flying, magic tricks, and even the bat-mobile! Such a fun time!!

Six flags... Again

It has been so nice having season passes to six flags discovery kingdom this year. It's great to be able to just head out there with little planning and spend the day together. It's much more relaxing when we are not stressed about trying to fit everything in. This was the first time in all of our visits that we made it to the butterflies and the kids loved it! Wyatt also got a chance to splash around and play now that he's not afraid of the water! ;)

George

We have a new dog at our house.... George! He is very sweet and playful. He is a few years old and loves to play with the kids. He is a mastiff/ lab mix and around 145lbs.

Star test

The star test is a state standards test given each year to children 2nd grade and up. These are Logan's results from last year :) he did great!!

First day at their new school

We made the decision to switch schools this year. Some issues about our other school were brought to our attention and we knew it was time to step away.
The kids are now at Hart Ransom Elementary School. They love it!!!! They love not having to wear a uniform each day. They love so many things that seem so normal to most of us but things they never experienced at their old school. Going in their first day I had to explain cafeterias, recess before school, visiting the library, homework, a ball wall, and even a desk. It really opened my eyes to the fun things they were missing out on. They wake up early each day excited to not just go to school but go early to eat breakfast and play before class! So good to know we made the right choice!

Johns incredible pizza

School starts on Monday! With daddy being gone.... Again, I decided to take the kids for a surprise trip to one of their favorite places. Johns incredible pizza.... Like chuck e cheese for big kids! We had a yummy lunch and played games. We were also very careful to save some tokens and tickets so the big kids could take daddy when he gets home!
