Thanksgiving time with family!

Wow, this year just seems like it has flown by. Thanksgiving came and went so quickly! I had a great time making some fun cupcakes for our Mops meeting on tuesday. Then on wednesday when Logan got out of school the kids and I headed to GG and Cowboy Papa's house. Jared came much later after work. We had quite an eventful "thanksgiving eve" that ended with Jared and Josh(my brother) catching the teen that broke into my mom's car. He had also broken into other cars in the neighborhood. Long but funny story short they ended up getting the teen, his brother, and his Mom all put in jail that night! Betcha didn't know we had CrimeFighters in the family! Thanksgiving comparitivly was rather uneventful. Just a nice time to sit and enjoy being with family. Charlotte ate some mashed potato and then when I let her taste sweet potato she couldn't get enough, she was screaming at me to hurry up!

My grandparents watched the kids for a while on friday morning so Jared and I could do a little shopping. Then we headed home to Modesto.

On saturday we went down to Sacramento. Brian, Nicole, and lil miss Katelyn were still down from Idaho and we went to give Katelyn her Christmas presents. She loved the ball pit that her Uncle Jared picked out for her. The kids also opened their presents from Uncle Brian and Auntie NIcole. Logan got Wall E, and a hot wheels city. Savannah got really fun purple dress up stuff, and Charlotte got a very cute outfit! It was a very fun day!! We finished it off with Merrill and Kriton coming over so all of us 20 somethings and kiddos (minus Logan) went out to do a little shopping in Roseville. The girls and babies went to babies r us and old navy while the guys and Savannah hit sportmans. Then we all met up at the Galleria. I had a great time talking with Kriston or the drive over and while we were shopping. We drove back to Modesto late that night.

We finished off the weekend on sunday by getting out all of the Christmas decorations and setting them up. Then we had a nice dinner with the Willeys and the Conners. It had been such a long time since we all had dinner at the Willey's together. Such a nice night to spend with good friends!

So, as you can see we seem to have gotten as much as we could into our holiday weekend. We are truly BLESSED!!!
